McNeese announces Kids College, Leisure Learning summer classes | News
McNeese State University will offer a series of summer classes for both children and adults in the coming months.
The Kids College/McNeese Teens courses being offered include the following:
Getting Ready for First Grade Phonics and Math (Grade 1),
Mathemagical Adventures (Grades 1-2 and 3-5),
Fun with Spanish (Grades 1-3, 4-7),
Beginning Tennis (Grades 2 - 9),
Nancy Melton's "Splash Dance with Watercolor" (Grades 3 and up),
Beginning Guitar (Grades 3-5 and 6-10),
Science for Young Scientists (Grades 4-6),
Jump Start to Creative Writing (Grades 6 and up),
The Myths of Greece and Rome (Grades 6 and up),
and Intro to Video Game Design (Grade 7 through adult).
McNeese University's Leisure Learning is also offering the following classes for adults:
Getting Started with iPad on June 1;
iPad--Moving Beyond the Basics on June 8,
Microsoft Excel 2010--Introduction on June 11 and 13;
Excel, Level 2: Working with Multiple Workbooks on June 18 and 20;
and Beginning Computer I: Learning the Basics on June 12, 17 and 19.
